A few posts ago, I put to you my 17 goals for 2017 and among the 17, there was one which was all about reading. I want to read more books this year because I am constantly on my computer and I never take the time out to read and chill.
So this weekend, I went on Amazon for a book mooch and ended up with six new books, let's have a look at them.
Ctrl Alt Delete by Emma Gannon... This book is a memoir/biography by Emma Gannon, who has grown up with the internet and who has spent her life online. She was born in 1989 so I'm nearly the same age as her, so I feel like I will enjoy this book because I have similarities with the author.
Get Your Sh*t Together by Sarah Knight... If you haven't heard of Sarah Knight recently, where have you been? She has been dubbed by many as the "anti-guru", Get Your Sh*t together is all about learning what to care about, what not to care about and how to start doing things you want to do. Sounds like an interesting read.
The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k by Sarah Knight... The book that brought Sarah Knight to fame. This one is all about how to stop spending time doing things you don't want to do with people you don't like, which something that sounds like a good read.
The Life Changing Magic of Tidying by Marie Kondo....If you have ever watched a vlog by me, you will know that I spend a lot of time cleaning my room because I leave it too long between cleans and the clutter and crap gathers and ruins my clean room. This book sounds like it should help me to declutter and have a better and clearer room.
We were on a Break by Lindsay Kelk... Out of the six books I bought, this one is the one that I know least about. Lindsay Kelk is the lovely lady behind the I Heart... Series, which I've heard a lot about. After reading the information on the Amazon page, I decided to take a punt and have a go. I will report back.
Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella... Ahh Sophie Kinsella, the lady behind the Shopaholic series, which I actually have never read. I have however read other books by her, which I really enjoyed. So I thought I'd pick this one up and give it a go.
If I read all of these books I will be over half way through my goal for 2017. What books would you recommend to me to read? I'm a romance lover but I'm open to most things. Leave your suggestions below.
