Charlotte Tilbury Glastonberry

It's winter time and that means one thing, dark lips ahoy on the lips of many beauty bloggers. We all know the lipstick "rules" of the beauty blogger, Spring/Summer = Brights and Autumn/Winter = darks and berries, am I right?

I have to say I defintely embrace the stereotypical rules and I love me a dark berry shade once the days get shorter and the nights draw in. One that I'm often a little scared of but in love with at the same time is Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Glastonberry.

This was my attempt at a halloween look this year, I went out to a concert with my parents and this was as good as my scary look went after the week had been full of mishaps, pains and trips to the walk in doctors.

Anyway onto the lipstick itself. The shade can look intimidating in the bullet because it's definitely a rather deep shade but on the lips, I hope you can see isn't too scary. I lined the lips with MAC Nightingale Lipliner underneath for a little added berry-ness but I would defintiely say that this lipstick is a very deep red berry shade that is just perfect for a vampy wintery look.

The formula of the Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks is something special too. The original K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks are amazing and these are great too. They apply nicely and feel a little creamy on the lips but they "set" to a matte finish.

What do you think of this lipstick? Would it be one of your favourites?
