The Last Splurge Before The Save

Hello there,

I've recently done quite a bit of shopping, so much so I've put myself on a spending ban. I said on twitter that I feel like I've been spending for the sake of spending so I need to save my pennys up instead. I mean a MacBook won't buy itself, will it?

So before I put myself on my ban, I stopped at the shops on the way back from work on Friday and I thought I'd share with you all what I bought. Up first, Boots.

The reason behind my boots trip was to stock up on some things that I've run out of. Of course some other things jumped into my basket and I couldn't say no. The essentials I needed were a two Soap and Glory favourites, Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk and the Whipped Clean Shower Butter. I love the shower butter for shaving my legs, it's perfect and the Peaches and Clean used to be a good cleanser/face mask but I haven't used it in a while so it'll be interesting to see if the formula is the same.
Also in the essentials category is hair bobbles. One thing I always lose is bobbles and hair pins because they get put into bags after exercise classes and swimming and then I lose them all.

Then onto the extras...I bought two more of the Revlon Ultra HD Lipsticks this time in the shades Orchid and Geranium. I have plans to review the ones I have soon so look out for those.
I also bought two eyeshadow singles from Seventeen in Rose Quartz and Statuesque, I knew as soon as I swatched these they needed to be mine, so sparkly and nicely pigmented.
The last two things I picked up were a Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 54 because it was new and I like new things and finally I bought the Soap and Glory Fab Pore face mask after I heard Mikhila from Miss Budget Beauty talk about it this week. You can never have enough lipsticks or face masks right?

I also made a quick trip to IKEA as it was right next to Boots. I picked up a few picture frames for my room and I also picked up three lots of the KUPOL storage. I found them in the desk storage area but I bought them with my sunglasses in mind. You see I've gained a lot of sunglasses through and I thought it would be a good thing that they had a place live so I bought these. Each drawer has space for two pairs of glasses so I've got enough space for all my sets.

I've got one last order to turn up this week and then that will be it for a while. I'm defintely going to go on a no buy until at least the London Meet Up on the 15th but I might even continue afterwards.

What do you think of my haul?

Lots of Love,
Clare

  1. I think I need to stop spending too...funnily enough because I want an iMac! I am building up to my last haul I think, and it will probably be at Boots. Can't have enough Soap & Glory products! And I know what you mean about hair bobbles. I am down to my last two ad I sweat I had about twenty a couple of months ago....

    1. I wish apple products weren't so expensive haha. Hair bobbles and hair pins have a life of their own I'm sure xx
