Some of you might be aware that I am a bit fan of high end products and a brand I've been introduced to this year is Hourglass. I have two of the Ambient Lighting powders and one blush and then back in June, whilst on a trip with Beth and Becky in London, I purchased something to add to my hourglass collection.
Meet the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze
I know it is a thing of beauty. I bought this relatively after it was released and I wasn't going to buy it until I saw it on Beth's skin. From then on I knew it needed to be mine so I made the girls wander to the closest Space NK so I could purchase it partly with my points.
This bronzer is different to others I have because along with the bronze-y finish, there is a slight glow to it just like the Hourglass powders. It's literally like someone has got a bronzer and smushed an Ambient Lighting Powder into it. I think it is safe to say that this isn't a bronzer designed for contouring, it is great just to give your skin a nice bronze glow.
One thing I have to mention is the shade. I have Luminous Bronze which is the lighter of the two shades available and it is a good match on my skin and it also looked wonderful on Beth who is a fellow pale faced lady. The reason why I mention this is that whilst recently watching Anna from Vivianna Does Make Up and Lily Pebbles videos and they both said it was too dark and I can't agree because it is wonderful.
If you can't tell I am a big fan of this bronzer and I'm so glad I made the purchase. It is a little pricey at £42 but it is an investment for sure.
Lots of Love,
