What's in my Travel Make Up Bag...April 2015

Hey there,

I don't know about you all but I really enjoy looking into people's make up bags, whether they are in post or video form I will watch or read them and no doubt purchase everything they have in their bag.

Unlike some people I don't have a day to day make up bag, I just hunt through my make up storage in the morning and choose what I want to use that day. However when it comes to going away I can't do this and instead I have to pick what I might want and pack it away to take away. I've just come back from a week away in Pembrokeshire, which you will know if you follow me on instagram (@tloatb90) so I thought I'd share what was in my make up bag.

Starting off with bases. I took two foundations and two concealers. Foundation wise I took Estee Lauder Double Wear Light and The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream. I took both of these bases because I wasn't sure which one I preferred to take and neither of these take up a lot of space so I took both.
Concealers I picked to take are the Collection Lasting Perfection and the Maybelline The Eraser Eye. I love the Maybelline one but it is a very yellow toned concealer so it can't go anywhere but under my eyes so the Collection one needed to come too.

Powder/Cheek wise I took my MAC Blush Palette along with the Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush in Nude Mauve. I decided that with these four products I had everything I needed on the check front. Alongside all of these I took my trusty MAC Studio Fix Powder, which I will not go into because I think everyone and their dogs know about my love for that powder.

For eyes I took my Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette, which goes on every holiday with me. It is my favourite travel palette. Plus I went a little eyeshadow stick crazy. I took my By Terry Ombre Blackstar collection (spoiler...there maybe more coming in this collection soon). The shades I've currently got are Frozen Quartz, Misty Rock and Bronze Moon and they are all wonderful amazing shades. The other eyeshadow stick I took was a Kiko one in a light purple shade just because you know purple.
The final two eye related products are the Sleek Eyebrow stylist and the B.Longer Lengthening & Defining Mascara.

For lips I didn't realise how overboard I went until I took pictures for this post. I took five MAC Lipsticks and two of the Maybelline Colour Drama Lip Pencils. As you can see the MAC shades I took were Plumful, Up the Amp, Modesty, Faux and Peach Blossom. It was a great mix of nude/neutral shades and more out there shades too.
Talking about out there shades the two Maybelline pencils I took were Keep it Classy and Light it Up which are a berry dark nude and a bright red respectively.

I was quite restrained for me this trip, what do you think of my picks?

Lots of Love,
