My S/S Jo Malone Picks

Hey there,

Today I thought talk about something a bit smelly....We're going to talk about perfumes.
Before I began blogging, I was not really a big perfume fanatic, I had a couple of bottles that I sprayed occasionally but nothing spectacular. Now however, I've become quite a crazy collector, still not got as many as some bloggers but there's still time.

One brand I seriously got into at the start of this year was Jo Malone. Like most bloggers, good old Jo has been on my radar for a few years but I was unsure which one would be my signature scent(s). Well a few months ago, I took the plunge and placed my order (it was quite a big one) and today I thought I'd share my favourite Spring and Summer Jo Malone scents in case you were debating a perfume purchase.

So my S/S Jo Malone picks are Earl Grey & Cucumber, Wood Sage & Sea Salt and English Pear & Freesia. When I was looking around online and on the counter before making my purchases, I didn't think I'd enjoy these scents but I am in LOVE.

Earl Grey and Cucumber has a top note of Bergamot, an ingredient that gives Earl Grey it's distinct taste/smell, which mixed with the freshness of the cucumber and Beeswax base note makes the perfume smell incredible and very spring like. I love the scent and think it is perfect for everyone and anyone.

Wood Sage & Sea Salt is one of those blogger's favourites and I can now understand why. It is like a day at the beach mixed with an earthy base which is thanks to the sage. When I wear it, I can't stop sniffing myself.

English Pear & Freesia is one I didn't think I was going to enjoy but it is actually probably my favourite one of the bunch. The reason I thought I wouldn't like it is that it has Freesia in it which is of course a floral and florals are something I normally don't enjoy. However, there is something about that top note of Pear and the base note of the woody Patchouli which helps distract me from the floralness of the Freesia.

I am a big fan of all three scents right now and I think you all would love them too. What is your favourite Jo Malone scent? Let me know in the comments.

Lots of Love,
Clare
