Products I've bought and NEVER used #1: Real Techniques Make up Kits

Hey there,

I was looking through all my make up recently, having a bit of a sort out and it dawned on me that there are some things in my collection than I bought and then haven't used.

So I thought I'd start a new series telling you all about these products to get your opinions on them so that I know whether to try them sooner rather than later.

Today's products that I bought but I've never used are the Real Techniques Make Up Kit Palettes.

Real Techniques is a big brand in the world of make up brushes. In fact I'm pretty sure that most beauty bloggers have at least one RT brush in their collection.

However, how many of you remember the brand doing make up? As far as I thought these two palettes were limited edition (they weren't...they're still available) and they weren't available in stores in the UK. The only way of purchasing them was from the American Real Techniques Online Store

There is two palettes, the Modern Neutral (top palette in my pictures) and the Night Owl (the palette at the bottom of all pictures in this post). Each palette comes with four eyeshadows, a gel liner, a highlight, a blush and two lip glosses, which for the price I paid (around £15 each at the time of purchase) is great value.

Yet for some reason, they haven't been used at all. So I can't tell you anything about the quality of the eyeshadows or anything. I bought mostly because I thought it was limited edition. Anyone else do this?

Over the next month, I'm going to try and use the palettes and review them for you in March. Have you ever tried these palettes? What did you think of them?

Lots of Love,

  1. Urgh I don't want to think about all the make-up I buy and never use :( the natural palette looks like it has some nice shades in it.
