Today I thought I would talk a bit about a thing really close to my heart...New make up. There is nothing more exciting to receive a little delivery in a box or getting your new purchases handed to you in a nice little bag. Last year, way back in 2014, I tried a good handful of brands that I have now fallen in love with, so I thought I'd look forward to this year and share a few brands that I really want to try this year.
First up we have top left, Jo Malone. This brand is one that has eluded me so far. I don't know what it is, whether it's the beautiful counters and the glorious gift wrapping (which I have seen in action) but I have been drawn in to the world of Jo Malone. My one problem is deciding on a scent, everytime I have had chance to smell the collection I have never been able to decide on one precise favourite. Maybe this year is the year.
Hourglass (top right) again has packaging to die for, the glossy gold of the blush palette...it's the stuff of dreams. With so many brilliant sounding products to try out. I've just got to decide what will be the best thing to try.
Aesop (middle left) Parsley Seed Mask is one of the most hyped up products from the brand and there's part of me that thinks that I need to try it for myself. As anyone who watches my videos will know, I have a love hate relationship with my skin, especially the chin area, so I'm definitely making this the year to sort it all out.
Laura Mercier (middle right) is a brand I seem to gravitate to when in a beauty store. Most of the time it is so I can smell all the Ambre Vanille products..smells like heaven. As well as that I also want to look into their make up line too. including the Silk Finish Foundation as I've heard good things about that.
Nuxe (Bottom Left) Reve de Miel is the obvious thing I want to try from the brand because as a lipstick obsessive I need any help I can get to make sure that my lips are in tip top condition.
Finally, Sarah Chapman (bottom right) is another one of those greatly hyped about brands with it's well known Overnight facial and also the Ultimate Cleanse too. The one thing about the brand is the price. I just don't know if I can justify it...Can I?
Are there any brands out there that you want to try this year?
