Spending Ban Sunday #5 : A week of making shopping baskets

Hello there,

It's time for the fifth instalment of Spending Ban Sunday. There is only two posts left to write after this one and the final one is a look back at my spending ban time. In short the end is nearly in sight.

This week as the name of this post suggests has been a week of making shopping baskets. By this I don't mean I've weaving whicker baskets or anything like, I mean that I've been on the internet mooching around a few brands that I love and I've been making myself some internet shopping baskets, just to not go through the check out.

For example, after a relaxing bath this week I went on the Lush Website and decided to put everything I would like to try out in my basket and it came to £44.10 for 13 things. You see I've never been as into Lush as most people because before this week I'd only ever tried one other bath bomb and I wasn't impressed with it. But now I think it's love and I want to try everything out. What are your favourite products from Lush?

The other place I have currently got an ongoing basket going on is Amazon.. I've got the reading bug again and after many years I have read nearly everything in on my book case, which means I need some new reading material. Any suggestions of good books, send them my way.

Other than that, not much to report for the week. See you next week saving sweetpeas.

Lots of Love,
Clare

  1. I've really enjoyed JK Rowling's (adult) books, I think she wrote one under her own name and two under a pseudonym of Robert Galbraith. They're all very good (in my opinion anyway!)
