How many foundations are too many?

Hey there,

One thing I have learnt over the couple of years that I have been blogging is that I am a complete hoarder of make up. Some things I'm not as bad for but one thing I'm terrible for hoarding is foundations.

As I have said in previous posts, I have been on a quest to find my holy grail foundations that are the right colour for me (#palefacedproblems) so over the years I've created quite a stash.

Yes that's right, I have two deep Muji drawers full of foundations. I have skilfully managed to seperate them into high street and high end. In the high street drawer, we have a mix of L'Oreal, Rimmel, Bourjois and Maxfactor. Some I have bought because I have liked the sound of them and I have loved them but others I have bought through hype and I have wished I haven't. Anyone else?

Then onto the next draw which is all of my high end foundations. For obvious reasons (price) I have put more research into before buying. In this drawer there is a mix of MAC, YSL, Giorgio Armani and NARS. I have my favourites in this drawer and there's a couple that I don't like so much as well.

All in all, there's probably over ten foundations over two drawers, so I ask you... How many foundations are too many?

Lots of Love,
Clare

  3. I'm pale like you (NC10 for reference!) and I've got 11 foundations at the moment. Only three of them are perfect colour matches tough I can use a lot of them if I blend or I'm going to a dark pub! Pale girl problems - I hear ya!

    1. I'm generally a NW10 and I struggle with the pink balance in most of my foundations. Pale girl problems are terrible problems to have x
