As it's October now, I have been coming to realisation that ballet pumps will not be acceptable footwear for day to day life for much longer. It is nearly boots season, which means one thing I need to buy a new pair or two.
My problem is that I never normally find any I like or the ones I find I like don't fit or aren't big enough (size 8 wide fit problems). However, this year I've got my eyes on a few pairs and today I thought I'd share my favourites that I have found.
These boot picks come from three brands, we have Simply Be, New Look and Yours Clothing. Up first we have the Simply Be boots, which are the top left pair. I actually saw these in real life at Plus North and thought how cute they'd look with a skater dress and tights for a night out with family. I definitely want to try these boots on when I get the chance. Plus as they are black, they will go with so much which is always useful.
Next onto two New Look pairs. From the top right, I give you this pair of black block heel boots. This pair is very similar to a brown Chelsea style heeled boots I bought from New Look last year. I found them very comfortable to walk around shopping in, plus they are great to style with jeans or a skirt and tights. The other pair I wanted to share with you is the Tan Ankle Boots. I've actually tried these boots on in store near me but I was in my work scruff trousers, which were covered in porridge and pasta (I had been working in a nursery with babies that day) and I just couldn't see them properly so I decided I would go in store again in an actual outfit and see what I thought. I would like to say they are very comfortable though.
Finally to the two pairs from Yours Clothing. I learnt about this brand whilst I was at Plus North and I'm so glad I did even if my bank balance probably won't be... for example, this dress will be mine!!
Boots wise, two pairs have caught my attention. First up the Black Double Buckle Ankle Boot. Just like the Simply Be pair, I can see them working well with a skirt/dress and tights but also equally as good with a pair of jeans tucked in. The other final pair I have to show you are the Tan Cut Out Ankle Boots. I'm not normally one for the cut out boots, but there is something about these boots that meant that I need to include them. It's like they are different to all the other cut out shoes.
What do you think of my picks?
Lots of Love,
