What I took to London... Make Up Edition

Hey there,

So last week I showed you all the make up I took with me to London. I thought I was quite restrained for me there. However now we get into the big leagues, today I share with you all the make up I took with me.

Grab a cuppa and let's get into it.

I think I was rather restrained here too. So let's start of with bases, I took two, one high coverage and one with less coverage. For high coverage times, I picked Estee Lauder Double Wear because it will cover over everything and will not budge and that's why I love it. For a lighter option I also took the Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream.
Concealer wise (not photographed...they were still in my handbag) I took two, I took the NARS Creamy Concealer and also the Collection Lasting Perfection, I can never decide between them so I just take both.

Eye wise, I took two palettes and two eyeshadow sticks. As you can see I took my Urban Decay Naked Basics and Naked 3 palettes. I couldn't make my mind up which one to take with me so I took both (and used both whilst down there)
Like I said, I took two eyeshadow sticks with me which were the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock and also the Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick in 05 as they are both simple to use and create a great look on their own. I also took my trusty Benefit They're Real Mascara, MAC Paint Pot in Painterly and Sleek Eyebrow Stylist with me.

Face wise, I took two blushers, a bronzer and a powder. If you have watched any of my videos, you will know how much I love the MAC Studio Fix powder so of course that was coming with me. The blushes I picked were both pink based but one is more shimmery (Natural Collection Rosey Glow) and the other is more natural (MAC Sea Me, Hear me). Finally for bronzer I took The Body Shop Honey Bronzer, it is pale enough that I get a touch of colour without looking like I've just smushed mud all over my face.

Finally onto lips. I took two lipsticks, MAC Lady Danger and Charlotte Tilbury Velvet Underground (not photographed). I also took two of the Revlon Moisture Stains in Rio Rush and Shanghai Sizzle as they are my favourite two at the moment and finally I took the MAC lip liner in Cherry just in case.

Not a lot of make up really? What do you think of my picks?
Tell me in the comments below.

Lots of Love,

  1. Looks like a lovely selection, so many of these products are on my mental wishlist!
