Beauty time at Debenhams Intu Merry Hill

Hey there,

Every so often I get an email that spark my interest. About a month ago, I got an email asking me whether I would like to visit Debenhams beauty department in Merry Hill to chat to the lovely people on the counter of Elemis, Urban Decay and Elizabeth Arden.

Of course I accepted the opportunity even though I didn't really know what was going to happen and a couple of weeks ago (10th May) I drove myself through the rain to Intu Merry Hill and after meeting up with fellow blogger and friend Zoe for a catch up, we headed over to Debenhams and that's where the fun began.

Firstly, we began at the Elemis counter where after a quick chat about how our skin behaved and our skin worries, we were given a little mini facial. All our make up was taken off and we were told all about the products that were going on our faces.

I love taking my make up off at the end of the day as I love the feeling of a clean face after a long day but it was nice for someone else to do all the hard work. Do you think I could employ someone to do my routine for those nights I'm tired and just want to use Micellar Water and be done with it?

The products they used on my face

Once we were fresh faced and make up free it was time to visit the nearby Urban Decay stand to get some make up back on our faces. Both me and Zoe both got our make up did. The key thing they used on both of us was the new Electric Palette, however our end looks were slightly different.

When I sat in the chair I was asked whether I had used any of the Urban Decay products (I said yes, I own Naked 3 and the original Naked Palette, plus I have one lipstick from them too). So the make up artist decided to show me the Naked 2 to go with the Electric Palette.

Finally after Urban Decay had done their magic, we travelled over to our final stop, which was Elizabeth Arden and to a lovely lady called Hayley. Sadly I didn't have chance to take pictures on this stand. At the Elizabeth Arden stand, we were introduced to a lot of lipglosses, lipsticks and lipliners. Oh my I was in heaven. We were allowed to have free rein playing with all the shades and we were allowed to apply one for ourself. Big shout out to the Lipgloss in the shade Passionfruit... I fell in love.

I had a great day playing make up and I definitely have some new products to add to my very long lust list. Thanks to everyone in Debenhams Intu Merry Hill for looking after me and my fellow bloggers and thanks for the invitation.

Lots of Love,
