What was in my London Make Up Bag

Hey there,

A few weeks ago (21st-23rd March) I went down to London for a few days. The purpose of the trip was to go and do some bridesmaid related things with my oldest friend, Natalie. On the Saturday I met the other bridesmaids and we all tried on dresses and then on the Sunday, it was just me and Natalie and we did my favourite thing... Make up shopping. All in all a good weekend.

As I was down there for the weekend, I of course needed to take some make up. I thought it would be interesting for you all to see what I took with me.

First up.... Base Products. I took two foundations as I didn't know whether the No7 Superlight Foundation was going to match my skin and I knew I'd need a back up. I didn't actually need the MUA Undress Your Skin one in the end but it was good to know it was there. For Concealer I took the NARS Creamy Concealer in Chantilly as I know it's a good all rounder and then finally for powder I took the MAC Studio Fix Powder.

I took two blushers, a pink (MAC Well Dressed) and a coral (MAC Stay by Me) as then I thought I was equipped for any blusher related problem and I was right. I used both once.

Onto the eyes, I took my trusty MAC neutral palette (because I can make many a look using the shades I've put together), a MAC Paint Pot in Painterly, a Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil and a Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara.

Finally the lip products. I took a Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Balm, a MAC lip pencil in Magenta and three MAC lipsticks ( of course). The Lipsticks I took with me were Creme Cup, Syrup and Flat out Fabulous.

And that is it...Everything I took with me in my make up bag. I did also take some brushes for application but I kept them seperate so they didn't dirty everything in my make up bag. What do you think of my choices?

Lots of Love,

  1. Ooh and how many products did you manage to take back in said make-up bag which are new? x

  2. I love the look of the coral blush, you'll have to do a post on the MAC blushes as I've never tried any of them x

  3. I'm so jealous of you Mac Neutral Palette! Great picks, I hope you had a fun time in London :)
