The Original Tangle Teezer

Hey there,

Today I bring you something that has changed my hair life for ever, something that I couldn't be without..let's just say I'm a fan.

The Tangle Teezer is a detangling hairbrush that claims to brush the hair without pain. It is designed in such a way that you can hold it in your hand easily and simply brush through easily, detangling any knots you might have.

A little information about my hair for you all... My hair is thick, wavy/curly (depending on how it feels that day) and well let's just say it's unruly at the best of times. This brush easily brushes through from root to tip, without any pain for me.

I like to brush both on top and from underneath because I have thick hair and the teezer's brush doesn't have the longest bristles. It does take a while to get through all my mop but I don't mind.

I have had this post in my drafts for a while but it wasn't until recently that I decided to share my love with you all. You see, I recently visited my brother at his house and left my Tangle Teezer there. Whilst I waited for it's return (my brother lives a good two hours away and he had promised a safe return for free if I waited a couple of weeks) I used a brush that I was using before I started using the TT. After just one use with my old brush, I realised how much I relied on the Tangle Teezer and how much nicer it was to use than the others.

The one downside of this brush is the price for the standard sized Tangle Teezer you will have to fork out on average about £10. As much as I enjoy this brush it is essentially plastic and well it is rather pricey for what it essentially is. This is the reason I refused to repurchase when I left it at my brothers.

I guess what I'm saying is that I like the idea behind this brush but the cost that it is may put many people off it. What do you think?

Lots of Love,
Clare

  1. I held off buying this for ages, but I'm so glad I finally did! Used to take me about ten mins to drag a brush/comb through my hair so this is a lifesaver! x

  2. I absolutely adore my Tangle Teezer :) I'm on my second one now as I think they do get a bit tatty after a year or so. I do think they're well worth my money because they don't pull at or break my hair like normal hair brushes! I could never go back to using a normal brush again haha :) xx

  3. I have been tempted by this, I've seen a lot about it but I'm never quite sure if it will be great on my hair or not - mine is ridiculously thick and unruly.

  4. I have the most curly, frizzy and unmanageable hair EVER after a few days of leaving it young, wild and free, and I actually really rely on my tangle teezer! no matter how knotted my hair is, my tangle teezer always sorts it out for me!

  5. I really wanted to try these but I hate the thought of paying so much for it! Think I will have to bite the bullet though because I have so much pain trying to brush my hair xx
