25 before 25... 1-5

Hey there,
I am one of those people who like to set themselves goals to complete. As I am slowly nearing towards the quarter century, 25 years old (I'm currently 23, 24 in August), I thought it would be a good idea to set myself 25 goals to hit before I turn 25 on the 8th August 2015.

My idea came in part from a set of posts that one of my good blogging friends Bex has been writing. If you want to check out her posts, you can see them through clicking the picture below because that is hers too (she kindly let me use it)

1. Buy a guitar and start to learn how to play it. It has always been a dream of mine from about the age of thirteen to be able play guitar. I am therefore setting myself the target to invest in a guitar and at least start learning...if only a few chords would make me happy.

2.Visit New York. It would be amazing to spend my 25th Birthday in New York, a place I have seen in countless movies. It is home to some of the most amazing shops and to Broadway and I would love to visit. I just need someone to look after me on the plane (I have a minor fear of flying) and also the funds to go.

3. Go on holiday with my fellow blogging friends. I think it would be amazing to go on a little getaway with my blogging friends. I haven't told any of them but hopefully they'll want to come.

4. Be completely happy with my size. We all know that I want to lose some weight. By 25 I hope that I will feel happy and preferably thinner.

5. Host a full on dinner party. Complete with smart dress, candles, the whole she bang.

I will continue every Friday for the next few weeks. I hope you follow my journey.

Lots of Love,

  1. I've started a 30 before 30 list even though it's 3 years away yet! One of mine is to go to New York :-) xx

  4. I hate flying, but the flight to New York was totally worth it! Just keep thinking of all the awesome things to see and do there and you'll be fine! =) xx

  5. I always wanted to learn guitar, and my best friend who's in a band tried to teach me. Unfortunately my fingers are too short and stubby and I failed miserably, but I'm glad I gave it a go!

  6. A great list so far! I've also done the 25 things before 25 post which you can find here

I've always wanted to learn to play the guitar but I'm left handed and found it difficult to learn with a right handed instructor :'D
I've been to New York twice and I can honestly say it's one of my favourite places to visit.
