London Hotspots, Shops and a Wishlist

Hey Lovelies,

Some of you might know, if you follow me on twitter (@abotat90), you might know that I'm going down to London for the day on Friday.

As part of my Christmas present, my brother got me two lots of theatre tickets for London. This visit is for the second lot of tickets, the first lot was at the start of the month to see something called 'Barking in Essex' which was closing on the day we saw it. This trip is to see 'The Book of Mormon' in the evening but before that I have a bit of shopping time alone before meeting up with my brother later in the day.

So as I will probably have around 4-6 hours alone with only my purse for company, I thought that I needed a plan of action and that action is to shop. Instead of wandering around aimlessly wasting time I have come up with a plan...

  • Start in Covent Garden... This area of London is one of my favourite places (if you take out the moving statues) and it is home to some of my favourite shops so of course I should start there. Covent Garden is home to Lush, a MAC Pro Store, Space NK, Cath Kidston amongst others.
  • Next move to Regents Street... Regents Street is home to Kiko and it is also very close to Carnaby Street, home to the Benefit Store and also near to Libertys.
  • Then visit Oxford Street. Ahh the home of shopping in London, home to Primark, a large Boots, Topshop and also Selfridges, which has the most amazing beauty hall ever.
So there is the current plan, if there are any places you think I need to visit make sure I know in the comments. Whilst I'm looking around the shops I have a little wishlist/shopping list....

Look at those beauties. Note I said wishlist/shopping list, this is because there are two things above that I will no doubt be repurchasing. Those things are the Lush Tea Tree Water, a product I love but have run out of, and the Origins GinZing, a moisturiser I am nearly out of.
The other things pictured are all things that I'm lusting over. For example, since purchasing NARS Sheer Glow I have had a lust to buy this concealer. I've heard nothing but good things about it and I think I will have to take the plunge with and pick up.

The other three things on the picture are things I've heard a lot about and want to try them for myself. We have the Aesop Parsley Seed Mask, the Origins Mega Bright Dark Circle Minimizer Cream and Tom Ford Lipsticks. The Aesop mask is a much talked about mask on YouTube, all the big YouTubers are a big fan of it, which makes me interested to see what all the fuss is about.

The Origins Mega Bright Dark Circle Minimizer is a relatively new product from Origins, which I've heard good things about. I hate my dark circles so anything that will help me banish them is helpful.

Finally, I have to blame Helen for this last lust and it is a Tom Ford lipstick. She has told me how wonderful and luxurious they are. I don't know what colour I would like, I feel a fun swatching session in Selfridges coming on.

Till Next Time,
