BEAUTY: Tales of a Pale Face Box Swap with AllyHope

Hey Lovelies,

So I religiously read Kat's (Tales of a Pale Face) blog, and every so often. She arranges a box swap. If you don't know what one of these is it is when you put your name down and get given a partner.  You then chat to your partner about your likes/dislikes, buy each other some treats and post them of to them. I took part in a blog box swap via Kat's blog before so I knew as soon as I saw that there was another swap that I wanted to get involved.

This time my box swap buddy was Ali from AllyHope, she was much speedy than me putting up her post so if you want to see what I bought for her, you can read her post here (link)

So I received some hair care samples, a mini Balance me face wash and a face mask I've never tried before which is the Montange Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off mask.

I also received some make up goodies ( my favourite). First up I received two lipsticks. When we first started talking, I discussed my lipstick obsession and my sheer love for lipsticks. So of course when I saw two lipsticks in my parcel. Ali bought me Revlon Cherries in the Snow (which is a gorgeous wintery pink) and also a Collection Gothic Glam lipstick in Revenge, which reminds me of MAC Hang Up in colour.

As well as the lipsticks, I received a 17 eyeshadow in Walnut Pearl, which is a gorgeous goody brown shade as well as a Rimmel eyebrow pencil. Ali said that she had bought the eyebrow pencil as she had seen that I'm not one for eyebrow filling in but she gave me some tips and I've since had a go.

I received a little Maxfactor nail polish, a collection (2000) primer and two little Elemis sprays, one which is supposed to help with sleep and also one which is a cooling face spray, so I will be saving that one up into the hot weather returns, which will be August 2014 haha.

I love box swaps like this because it gives you a chance to try things you would never pick up for yourself but you find you really love it. I'd like to thank Ali for being my partner and also a big thanks to Kat for organising the whole swap.

Till Next Time,
Clare
