BEAUTY: My MAC Lipstick Collection #4 Purples

Hey Lovelies,

It's time for another part of my MAC lipstick collection, so far we have had Nudes, Light Pinks and Bright Pinks. Today I'm introducing you all to the Purples in my collection, of which there are many... oops.

I have a variety of purple lipsticks, both lights and darks. I'll start of with the lighter ones and go from there. Ready? Got your cuppa ready?

MAC Viva glam nicki 2

Number one in the purple collection, Viva Glam Nicki 2. This is a lipstick I sometimes question why I own it, I didn't go in search for it, I never had it on a wishlist, it was just suggested by a MAC worker that it would work well on me so I picked it up. This lipstick is described by MAC as a " Pastel Lavender Pink" and the finish is Amplified but as you might see from the picture, it clings in places that you don't want it too and it never applies evenly

MAC Lavender Whip

Next up a lipstick which is no long available sorry. It is Lavender Whip and it was part of the Baking Beauties collection. It is a lavender purple shade and it is a cremesheen finish. I think it is the most perfect and beautiful purple I have in my collection. Anyone know a lipstick that is this colour?

MAC Up the Amp

Next up is Up the Amp. I love this lipstick and I haven't worn it in a while and I think writing this post makes me want to put it on again. MAC describes this lipstick as a "Lavender Violet", which I would agree with. I'd say it is a slightly darker Lavender Whip. The finish of this lipstick is Amplified, which is probably my favourite.

MAC Heroine

Next up, I bring you another limited edition lipstick, which you can no longer get (sorry!!). However I have an alternative which I'm going to show next. This shade is Heroine and it is a Matte shade.

MAC Violetta

Excuse the ever decreasing quality of my lips, trying to apply them one after another took its toll on them, I actually got sore lips. Anyway, this shade is Violetta, it is a permanent shade (YAY) but you can only get it from the MAC Pro stores ( I hade to get it from London). This shade has a Amplified finished. Violetta and Heroine are very similar shades, with the exception of the finish and the pigmentation, I find Violetta more sheer in comparison to Heroine.

MAC pomposity

This shade is called Pomposity and I bought this from a blog sale when I was first getting into MAC. I believe that this lipstick was part of a collection and it is no longer available to buy. I have to say I'm not the greatest fan of this lipstick but I think this comes down to the finish. This lipstick is a Frost finish and I just don't enjoy them.

MAC Rebel

My final lipstick for today is every beauty bloggers favourite autumnal lip, Rebel. It is described by MAC as a "Midtonal cream plum" but I call it more a berry than a plum. It is one that I fell in love with when I bought it and I shall fall in love with over and over again. It is a Satin finish.

So there you go, my purple MAC lipsticks in one go. I didn't realise I had so many until I started this. In my defence, purple is my favourite colour.

Till Next Time,
