BEAUTY: LUSH Ultrabland Review*

Hey Lovelies,

If you read my evening skincare routine, I am a big fan of a balmy cleanser to take off make up in the evening.

The Lush Ultrabland Cleanser is a suitable for all skin types balm cleanser, which uses beeswax and almond oil to remove anything that you've got on the face (make up, dirt, whatever takes your fancy) leaving it lovely and clean without stripping away anything that should stay on our faces.

I first tried this cleanser at the Birmingham Lush Event and at that event, it was taken off using a cotton pad but I find it easier to wipe it off with a damp face cloth and then following it up with my secondary cleanse and a tone for good measure.

One point I feel I must mention is that due to the fact it has beeswax in it, I wouldn't get it anywhere near your eyes. It might just be me but I accidently got some in my eye and for three days later I had the signs of allergic conjunctivitis and that just isn't fun.

I really enjoyed using this cleanser and may possibly repurchase it once I have got through all the other balm cleansers I've got at my disposal at the moment. A small 45g pot is £6.95* and the larger 100g pot is £10.95.

Have you tried this cleanser or any of Lush's Skincare?

Till Next Time,
Clare

  1. I used up a full tub of this cleanser and also reviewed it. I actually used it for my eye make up too and found that it worked brilliantly, I didn't have any adverse reactions to it. I thought the cleanser was amazing but the smell is just absolutely rank, I wish it didn't smell so bad because I really did enjoy using it.

  4. I've been using this recently and have mixed feelings about it, I've found it to be quite sticky and difficult to remove thoroughly so I think I'll start using it as the first half of a double cleanse routine. Also it smells a little strange! But I'm a sucker for cleansing balms so I'll stick with it!xx
