BEAUTY: My Evening Skincare Routine

Hello lovelies,

I hope you enjoyed my morning skincare routine , I thought I would continue my little skincare routine week with my favourite routine, my evening skincare routine.

Unlike my morning routine, I really enjoy my evening skincare routine. I will set time aside before I go to sleep to properly sort out my skin.

So in the evening, it is the time to remove to make up or dirt from the day and make myself a natural beauty again.

First up in the evening is the Balm Clean. I feel some much cleaner after using one. I have tried Ultrabland (a natural cleanser from Lush, works well but for god sake don't get any anywhere near your eyes) and I am currently using a sample of the Emma Hardie (insert long name here) Cleansing Balm. I also have the Boots Botanics Cleasing Balm ready for use. What I do is mix a bit of the balm with a drop of water then rub into the face making sure the whole face is covered. Then I wipe it off with a muslin cloth and voila, the make up has been melted off.

Secondly, is the second cleanse. For this I am currently the Lush 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion which is the same one as I use in the morning. Doing the second cleanse helps to make sure there is no make up left on the face after the first cleanse.

Next, it's toner time. Now depending on day, it can be one of two things. Every other day I use the Pixi Glow Tonic. If you don't know what it is, glow tonic is a exfoliating toner which helps to clear any dead skin cells amongst other things. On the days I use this, I let the toner sink into my skin for a few minutes before following it with my normal toner Lush Tea Tree Water Toner. On the days that I am not using the glow tonic, I will just use the Tea Tree Water.

It is at this time I apply my evening eye cream which is Indeed Labs Eysilix. It is a new edition to my routine so I can't say much about it now.

Next up in the evening, its time for a serum/face oil. Depending on mood or how I am feeling it will be one of a few things. My choices are at the moment are Trilogy Rosehip Oil (works wonders, unsure of the smell) or my new edition Hydraluron.I apply them and let the product soak into my skin before I finish off with my last step.

My last step is my favourite product and that is Origins High Potency Night a Mins night cream, it smells A-MAZING (a sweet orange smell) and just finishes off the whole nights work.

Once my night cream has soaked in, it is then time to switch off the light, snuggle under the covers and nod off.

Whilst I remember, if I have had eye make up on during the day, I will begin my routine by taking it off with Lancome Bi-Facil.

What is your night time routine? I'd like to know.

Till Next Time,
Clare

  8. Hi my friends how are you hope you fine me also share with you some beauty tips hope you like. Ever notice how girls with heavy eye makeup and heavy lips can look overdone and a bit clownish? When it comes to making up your face, it's best to decide to play up either your eyes or your mouth, but never both. I'm not a huge fan of rules when it comes to beauty, but I pretty much always follow this one and I wish I knew this tip when I was a teen. If you wear a smokey eye, go for nude lips with just a bit of gloss. Prefer the drama of dark lipstick? Keep face light (stay away from heavy blush) and wear only mascara on your eyes and a light eyeshadow. Don't heavily line your eyes. Play up both and you'll look like a clown. And never, ever line lips in a darker color than your gloss or lipstick. Thanks.
