Beauty: Colour of the Rainbow Tag

Hey Lovelies,

A few weeks ago I was tagged by the lovely Laura from Laurzah to join in with a tag which has been floating around which is called the colours of the rainbow tag. If you are not familiar with this tag, you find beauty products which resemble the colours of the rainbow (ROY G BIV and all his mates).

So I went through all my collection of make up, skincare and odd ends to find the rainbow (granted not all the products are the colour of their packaging) and after eating a pack of skittles (I wanted to taste the rainbow first..hehe), I managed to make this lovely rainbow.

RED: Maxfactor  Colour Elixir Lipstick in Ruby Tuesday. Red was always going to be an easy one for me to choose. I knew it would be a lipstick as I have a great love for a Red Lip. The Maxfactor lipstick is what I would describe as a cherry red, perfect for all seasons. I have a review planned for this lipstick and a few other colours on its way so look out for that.

ORANGE: Origins GinZing Eye Cream. This eye cream is a relatively new addition to my skincare addiction.  I use it every morning to help get rid of the big bags under my eyes... I'm loving it so far.

YELLOW: Johnsons Baby Shampoo. I use this to clean my brushes every week.. not much more to say about this.

GREEN: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I was introduced to this product and Liz Earle at the beginning of my blogging life. I used it day and night as part of my skincare reigme. Sadly this bottle is all but finished and I'm currently using the Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser.

BLUE: Lancome Bi-Facil. I reviewed this product last week. It is a brilliant eye make up remover...end of.

INDIGO: Not going to lie. I have no idea what the colour indigo is. I've always assumed it was purpley, but it is apparently a bluey shade... However I picked the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in the shade Light in Purple. It is a strange colour in the pot but comes out a purpley silver on the eye.

VIOLET: MAC Heroine. No tag of mine would be complete without a mention of a MAC product. I've picked MAC Heroine, a  perfect purple lipstick. It is a favourite for annoying the parents with because they don't understand the crazy colour.

PINK: Natural Collection Blush in Pink Cloud. This blush is a nice natural looking pink with no shimmer. A blush which I don't get as much use out of as I should do. This blush is a perfect daytime colour and is only £1.99!!

So there are my colours of the rainbow. I tag you all to join in. If you do this tag, leave the post as a comment and I'll check it out.

Till Next Time,
Clare
