Phil Smith Total Treat Argan Oil Hair Transforming Cream

Hey Lovelies,

So today I'd like you to meet a hair treatment with one of the longest names that I have found, which is Phil Smith Total Treat Argan Oil Hair Transforming Cream. I shall from now be calling it just Total Treat.

Phil Smith Total Treat Argan Oil Hair Transforming Cream

I got this sample with Cosmopolitan a few months ago and I recently started using it alongside my normal shampoo & conditioning rituals instead of using my most recent hair oil choice, which is the

Macadamia Healing Oil, of which my sample had ran out, I had been super impressed with that oil so I was interested to find out what I thought of this little tube.

Phil Smith says...

"This oil-in-cream treatment will miraculously transform the texture of your hair into lustrous silky locks. It helps lock in moisture to heal dry, damaged hair and restore smoothness. Prepare to be amazed by the gloss and general hair gorgeousness."

So you see it claims the same things a hair oil claims it can deliver... soft smooth hair that will be perfect for stroking like a cat. Every hair oil I have tried have had an effect of sorts on my locks and this one is the same. This cream oil leaves my hair soft and smoother than a babies behind. So top marks on that front.

The smell of this product is inoffensive  it isn't strongly scented on the hands or in the hair you only get a  slight whiff of a vanilla scent which no-one can be upset about. The thing I like about this product is that its an oil in a cream. The issue I tend to have with hair oils are the fact that I'm always left with a bit of the oily residue on my hands that I have to wipe off somehow. But with this one I'm left with no residue as the creamy element of the product tends to cling better to my hair.

So overall I'm a fan. The only problem is that it seems to be tricky to get your hands on. Phil Smith  has a range in Sainsburys but only seems to stock the cream on their website but they were sold out when I looked.

Price wise a 100ml tube is available for £10.99 RRP, which is cheaper than the the Macadamia Healing Oil which can range dramatically between £15 and £30 depending on where you get your hands on it.

Have you tried this hair treatment?
Till Next Time,
Clare xx
