Lancome Event 2nd May 2013

Hello Lovelies,

As you might have worked out from my past few posts, I recently got the chance to go to another Lancome Event/Masterclass. It was our second meeting with Lydia (the first visit you can read about HERE) and it was lovely to see her again and see what treats were in store this time.

This time, we were learning about the Lancome Hypnose Palettes. Like last time, Lydia asked for a volunteer, which this time was Amy but we all were models as Lydia taught us how to use the palette to create a complete eye look with one palette.

See the palettes, they look pretty don't they... firstly in our pairs, we picked which palette we were going to use ( me and Gemma picked the same one, Helen and Sophie picked seperate ones for each other) and then we took to taking our eye make up off each other's faces (sorry Gemma for the amount of mascara, you had to get off my eyes) and then we were ready to try to recreate the looks.

obviously, I was excited about the make up (photo from Amy)

so were Sophie and Helen :) (photo from Amy)

Each Group were given a mirror to help us remember which shade went where, which was helpful and plus there was always Lydia to help us if we needed her expert knowledge.

look at the concentration... anyone want their make up done? (photo from Amy)

Once we had recreated the looks including mascara, Lydia used a new product which is a blush, contour and highlighter in one, which was beautiful and reasonably priced (for a high end product) at £27. I think all us ladies wanted to take it home.

Finally our faces were finished off with this lovely mint green lipgloss (yes green). It actually came out sheer, don't you worry.

Once we were all looking gorgeous, all that was left to do was pose for a few group shots, make a purchase if we wanted to, then head back to New Street for our trains home (don't get me started on the new New Street...eugh!!)

Thank you to Lydia for a lovely evening and Amy for letting me borrow her pictures. Can't wait for the next one :)

Till Next Time,
Clare xxx
