Super Easy Easter Recipe

Hey lovelies,

So this week at school, I had to plan and perform an activity as part of my course. I chose to do a bit of "cooking" with them. Obviously as they are four and five year olds so it couldn't be tricky and as it is Easter this weekend I decided to make Easter nests with them.

The children absolutely loved playing around with the ingredients and the smell of chocolate and sugar was beyond amazing. Add in that this "recipe" is foolproof and you are onto a winner.

To make about 13 yummy cakes you will need:

100g Chocolate (we used Dairy Milk but any will do)
100g Cereal (we used Cornflakes but its personal preference)
50g Butter
2 tablespoons of Golden Syrup
A bag of mini eggs
Paper Cake Cases

So this recipe has only a few steps...

  1. Measure all the ingredients out.
  2. Put the Chocolate, Butter and Syrup into a bowl, stick in the microwave for about 2 minutes or until everything turns into a liquid.
  3. Add the Cereal and mix everything until everything is covered in the chocolatey fun.
  4. Spoon into the cake cases, add the mini eggs and stick in the fridge until they are set.

There is the finished product... oooh yummy. I hope you enjoyed this post.
Till Next Time,
Clare xxx
