Lancôme with the ladies

Hello Lovelies,

Recently, I went to Birmingham to meet up with a small collection of 5 lovely bloggers to visit the lovely Lydia from Lancôme in Selfridges, who had invited us over to show us all the lovely lovely products that they sell on their counters.

The lovely Gemma of Button's Blog was the decided model and Lydia demonstrated how to use the products to produce an amazing end product. Here are the products she used on Gemma's face...

Look at all those products, pretty packaging.  The two that interested me the most are the two Génifique products, the black bottle on the right hand side and its cousin the silver bottle next to it. The black bottle is the "youth activating concentrate", the thing that according to Lydia is the start of every Lancôme skincare routine. It's friend in the silver bottle is the Genifique eye pearl, which is an eye luminating serum with an applicator that massages the eye area.

We got to sample the products on the back of our hands and I left with THE smoothest hands ever.  I really enjoyed watching Gemma getting a cleanse and getting her make up done, plus we were given little hints and tips. Tips including the magic V and the bronzer power of three, have you heard of them?

We also got introduced to the newest foundation from Lancome, Teint Visionnaire. A foundation which has two steps to it.  A corrector, which is in the lid and then the foundation as well. It looked amazing on Gemma's skin and I'd love to try it out for myself. Better start saving after this trip to Lancome. Lydia has asked us back next month for another chat, maybe I'll be the model this time?

Thank you Lydia for inviting us all down.

Till Next Time,
Clare xxx

  7. Great blog post, I've never really been drawn towards Lancome products before, I'm not too sure why but after seeing Gemma all 'kitted up' in it she looks absolutely flawless!

I'm not sure if I should be thanking you for a good read or cursing you as I now feel the need to order some products...

    Tsk!

  8. Hi, just found your blog through a friend! For anyone that wants to know, Visionnaire is a medium coverage foundation, with a heavy concealer. The idea is so that you just control how much you put on in certain areas, as generally we don't need coverage over the entirety of our skin, just in patches. (Too much can just coax out more blemishes!) Reason I'm being so intrusive is cause I worked for Lancome very recently :) Any other Q's about Lancome products just ask! (I'm very honest)

    Love the blog!xx
