Bring on the Summer.... Maxi Dresses

Hello Lovelies,

I don't know about you all but I'm sick of the thick jumpers, many layers of clothing and big bulky boots. I am now longing to bring my summery clothes back out of the attic and as much as I like my ankle boots that I'm rocking at the moment, I want to start wearing my sandals again, which is just something you can't consider at the moment without getting frostbite or worse.

So today I bring you something that I can't wait to wear again, maxi dresses. They are comfy but stylish and so easy to rock whatever your shape. I bring to you four dresses, varying in price but equally pretty to show you why you should be excited for summer too...

Pretty right? Shall we have a look at them all seperately?

1... This dress is from New Look and it comes in at the low low price of £14.99. I love the colours of this dress and also that it seems to wraps itself under the breasts, which means that ladies who are blessed with an ample bosom can flaunt it a little. Did I mention that it was £14.99? Bargain.

2... This dress may look familiar as it featured in THIS POST. I saw it then and thought it looked amazing, perfect for someone's beach getaway with a pair of flip flops or sandals on their feet. This dress is from Warehouse and it retails at £80.

3... This dress is a little out of my price range but I had to put it in because the pattern on it is beyond gorgeous. This maxi is made from 100% Silk and was designed by Ted Baker. I love the fashion that comes from that designer I just wish I could afford the price tags. This dress retails on ASOS for £229. Oh well a girl can dream eh?

4... Finally bringing it back down to earth a little here is another Maxi Dress from New Look. I love the stripe detailing and that it starts at the top white and changes to black at the bottom. This dress also has a thigh slit, so if that floats your boat, you are onto a winner with this dress.

I could have gone on for a long time showing you a wide range of maxi dresses that I'd love to get my size 18 body into but I thought I better stick with the four for now. What do you think of Maxi Dresses in the summer? Do you have a favourite dress or are you all about the trousers? Tell me in the comments below.

Till Next Time,
Clare xxx

  1. The second is my favourite. Beautiful!

  2. WOW! Serious I never seen this print on maxi the second one. Loved it.
