What's in my Make Up bag... Bristol Edition

Hello lovelies,

If you didn't already know, I have an older brother who lives in Bristol. The weekend just gone, I spent up there sorting various things out and not doing a great deal else, but being a beauty blogger I still needed to take my make up bag and also a bag for skincare (look out for that post).

If you follow me on twitter you would have seen the tweet in which I said:

This is completely true. Before I began blogging I'm sure I'd have took a few little things, maybe a foundation, concealer and that would have been about it. Want to see what I actually took?

First I just have to show off my current make up bag. It was a Christmas gift from my best friend and I love it (and her) to pieces. It is a Ted Baker bag, from I believe a few collections ago. I think the Ted Baker make up bags are things of beauty so when I unwrapped this one I was ecstatic.

So lovely. Here it is full of my goodies for the weekend (note the word weekend)...

Jammed packed with make up... being addicted to make up is always a bad thing. So for the weekend I took....

  • Maxfactor Facefinity 3 in 1 Foundation in the shade Warm Almond. I am a fan of the foundation but it is currently not the right colour for me. I'm using less foundation and really buffing... Damn my pale skin.
  • Bare Minerals SPF 15 Foundation in shade fairly light. I have never really talked about this product on her before but I have always got it handy. I can use it on its own if I'm having a good skin day or in summer, or I sometimes use a tiny bit over the top of my other foundation to hide any imperfections etc.
  • 2 Concealers. Yes I took two. I went with Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection (the blogger favourite) and also Garnier roll on. I use a bit of both to cover the dark circles that I loathe so much under my eyes. I still haven't found the perfect concealer.. ideas?
  • Benefit They're Real. I love this mascara. I gave it a post of its own last week (which you can find here) and it is part of my current giveaway. There is just no way I was leaving this little beauty behind.
  • MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study. For days when I can't be bothered to go crazy with eye make up. Like when I visited Sainsburys at 9am on a Saturday. Yes my brother is strange.
  • My MAC Quad. Guess the shades in the comments. I'll give you a high five if you guess them all correctly.
  • MAC Soft and Gentle. I love this product, use it daily I just pop a bit on my cheek and brow bones.
  • 4 Lip Products.. Two MAC Lipsticks in Brick-o-la and Creme Cup. A Natural Collection Lipstick in Rose Bud and finally a Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Snog. Let's just say I wanted to be prepared for anything.
See what I mean. All that for one weekend. Impressive isn't it?
That is all for this post folks.

Till Next Time,
Clare xxx
