What I took to Bristol: Skincare Edition

Hey lovelies,

Remember last week when I showed you the mountain of make up that I took for one weekend at my brothers (if not remind yourself HERE). Well now its time for the skincare side of it. Recently I have been trying to be better with my skincare routine so I tried to make sure that I had a cleanser, toner, moisturiser the works.

Before I begin... I'm very much a high street/supermarket in my skincare choices. Don't expect to see any high end skin care because you won't find much here.

I like Simple products. Can you tell? I only had a small bag so I only took the essentials. I took:

  1. Boots own Eye Make Up remover.  This has been my eye make up remover of choice ever since I started wearing make up. Its cheap, it does the job... what more do you need?
  2. Lush Tea Tree Water Toner. I have talked about this toner before. I love it, I use it in the mornings after cleansing. If you want to read a review look back in the archives.
  3. Simple purifying cleansing lotion. My skin on occasions can react funny to products (it used to be very sensitive when I was growing up). I started using the Simple range because I know that their products are kind to skin and I know from experience that they work. This lotion works well at removing my make up.
  4. Simple Hydrating light moisturiser. I picked this up for the same reasons as the cleansing lotion. I knew it wouldn't mess my skin up. I don't use moisturiser as much as I should so I took it with me to remind me.
  5. Finally I took Skinetica. I'm sure you all know about this product, I picked it up at the Birmingham Blogger Meet Up because it was in my goody bag. It has affectively become my evening toner after cleansing. I let it work its magic overnight. Expect a review shortly.
So there you go.. Thats what I took to see my brother for the weekend. I'm off to see him again during the half term next week, just this time I'm taking some different products. Would you like a new post seeing the changes or not?
Leave me a comment.

Till next time,
Clare xxx
