Project Get Me Thinner Begins

Hey there lovelies,

This week I did something that scared the life out of me, I weighed myself for the first time in years. For years I have just gone on knowing I'm overweight but have just never ventured to the bathroom, hopped on the scales and looked at what I weigh.
I overcame my fears this week (mainly so I could put my weight into the My Fitness App) and hoped on the scales and the results scared me. For the moment, I'm keeping the actual weight to myself but let's just say it was not good.

So starting Monday (I am at my brother's this weekend, meaning there is no healthy options anywhere) I will eat healthier, continue my three lots of exercise a week, stop snacking (this is my downfall) and just try being a healthier person. I would love by my birthday in August to have lost maybe a stone (or two) and even maybe a dress size. I am currently a 16/18 depending on the clothes lets try to get to 14/16 or just 14.

In my lifestyle posts, I would love to feature other people who are trying to lose weight or who are dieting because if you do something together there is more chance of success. I also have ideas to do a what I ate on a certain day post. Would this be interesting?

 I would also like to do more recipe posts, preferably healthy eating ones so if you have ideas drop me an email. 

Finally, if anyone has any suggestions of products, apps, books send them my way.

  1. I think this is fantastic what you're doing.
    It is so hard to change your habits (I've been chaning mine for a year now, and snacking is still the one I can't quite let go of!) but you definitely have the right attitude and I will be so happy to read any post of your progress x

  3. I really need to change my eating habits too, i had to be weighed at a medical recently and was disgusted in myself at the weight im now at. Id definately be interested in seeing what healthy recipes you do, and any other healthy-type posts you plan on doing as well!

  5. I started slimming world 2 weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it cause it doesn't really feel restrictive. Looking forward to future updates on your weightloss :) xx
