My #birminghambloggermeetup goody bag

Hello there lovelies,

Can someone please setting the internal argument I have going on in my brain... is it goody or goodie? Answers in the comment box.

Anyway, as you all know by now on the 19th January 2013, I helped set up a bloggers meet up in Birmingham. I'm not going to witter on too much about the actual event because I've already written that post, which can be found here.

This post is all about the goody bag everyone who came received. Its like the one which is being given away, which you can find out about here. I haven't got round to trying everything yet, but I thought I'd show you what I got in my little white bag. Without further ado, here are my goodies...

Before I explain my goodies, I'd just like to say a massive thank you to Gemma and Sara for getting all these amazing goodies for everyone. Now lets look through the goodies shall we?

Hair

We have..
  • Neal and Wolf Shine Spra (Twitter - @NealandWolf) This spray smells amazing. I am yet to try it but I'm excited to try just because of the smell.
  •  Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner (Twitter-@PaulMitchellUK) Sadly, I am not a blonde, so I won't be able to try this out. I also don't know many blondes, so if anyone else would like to try this, leave me a comment.
  • Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment and Deep Repair Mask (Twitter @macadamiaoil) I have heard so much about this brand, I am so excited to try out this little parcel of goodness.

Skincare- Face and Body
Body

  • Herbalife Bath and Body Bar (twitter @herbalife) - As I am definitely a bath person rather than a shower person, I'm glad I got this bath bar from Herbalife. It is paraben free and smells super fresh. I'm exited to use this little treat.
  • Elemis Revitalise Me Shower Gel (twitter @elemis) - As I just said I'm a bath person, the only time I use shower gel is after Aqua Aerobics on a Tuesday. I shall be using this then though as I have heard such great things from this product.
  • Xen Tan Dark Lotion (twitter @XenTan_UK)- If you know me or have met me you will know I'm a pale girl. I'm a strange person in that I am proud that I am pale. I will be keeping this in storage until the summer just in case though.
  • This little bottle of Argan Oil came courtsey of Gemma's Mummy. This little bottle is 100% Pure Argan Oil. I use an Argain oil from Organix on my hair but that is mixed with other ingredients. This is the real deal, I have started using this one on my skin, especially since we have had really bad weather, I have found that it leaves my skin feeling really soft, thank you to Gemma's Mummy.
Face

  • Skinetica Anti Blemish Lotion (twitter-@skinetica) I had one bottle of this in my goody bag and I was allowed another (spare) by Gemma when we were sorting out all the bags in the restaurant. I had heard great things about this product and after a week of using this product I have to say I have not been disappointed. I shall do a proper review shortly (ooh I'm such a tease).
  •  Premae Skincare Balance Rescue Face Tonique (twitter @premaeskincare) - I have heard many good things about this toner from various sources. I am excited to try it out once my current toner runs out.

  • Jamela 24K Gold Under Eye Masks (twitter @jamelaskincare) - I have recently become interested in eye creams and their benefits. I always have dark circles under my eyes and will  try most things to combat that. I can't wait to try these out and see the results.

Samples

  • A collection of Blend Collective Hand Cream and Hand and Body Lotions (twitter-@BLENDcollective). Everyone likes a sample of hand cream/body lotion. Perfect for popping in handbags or for journeys away from home. I currently have a Soap and Glory Hand Cream on the go in my bag, but once I finish it I shall be popping on of these little pots in my bag of choice.
  • Outback Organics Bush Balm (twitter @OutbackOrganics) To be honest  when I saw this product, I was unsure what it was. After googling it I found that it was a product for after waxing both for "intimate" areas and also underarms and face, which helps to calm, cool and take the sting away. I'm interested to find if it works.
  • Glam Glow Youth-Mud Tinglexfoliate Treatment and Super Mud Clearing Treatment (twitter @GLAMGLOW_UK) - I'm sure every beauty blogger loves a good face mask, I know I do. I have heard many good things about the brand Glam Glow and their masks that I really can't wait to try these out.
Cosmetics

  • Benefit Porefessional (twitter @Benefit_UK_IRE) - every goody bag had a full size Benefit product. I was purely pot luck what you got. I received Porefessional. Every blogger and their dog has heard of this product I think. I got this as a small sample from Glamour Magazine, which I then went and lost (my room can be like a black hole sometimes). I'm interested to find if this product is worth the hype.
  • RevitaLash Volumizing Mascara (twitter@RevitalashUAE) - Everyone loves a Mascara and this one claims to darken, thicken, lengthen, and define the eyelashes.
  • Rimmel Glam Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara Provided for us by Cosmetics By Candy (Twitter - @cosmeticbycandy). Recently I have been really loving Rimmel's products and I love a good mascara so I'm excited to try this one. In case you are wondering Cosmetic by Candy is an online shop where there are a variety of make up goodies a lot cheaper than in the shops... check it out.

So there you go. My #birminghambloggermeetup goody bag. What do you like the look of out of everything and what would you like reviews of? Leave me a comment.

Till Next Time,
Clare

  1. Hi, new to your blog and I love it!

  2. I'd say 'goody', because 'ie' usually indicates plural. For instance, you get 'goodies' in your 'goody' bag! x
