impress nails impressions

Hey Lovelies,

Today I come to talk to you about impress nails. I'm guessing you've heard about them. They are nails that are false but there is no tricky nail glue to deal with or so I've heard (never used false nails, this lot). The range is fronted by Nicole Scherzinger and they claim to be the "revolutionary way to apply polish"

I bought my set at the clothes show at the end of last year and was waiting for a reason to wear them. As you all know, the weekend just gone was the weekend of the Birmingham Blogger Meet Up so I thought that I would give them a go.

I can't for the life of me find the name of the nail set I wore yesterday, but they were short length nails which had a design that was french tips with flower pattern, which looked like this...

I love the pattern, they look lovely and they were easy to apply once you'd worked out what nail was going on which finger as all you had to do was peel off a little bit of plastic off the back of the nail.

See the little bit of plastic?
So what did I think of them? As I said before I loved the design, I think it would perfect for a wedding. The downside that I found was that they were not good at staying on my fingers. It is claimed that they should last about a week, sadly for me this wasn't the case. I put the nails on on Friday night, following every step and bit of advice off the box, but one fell off in the night. I thought that it was just because I had just hit in the night, so I replaced the nail and went off to Birmingham.

However, I nearly lost one just sitting on the train, which I had to push back on and by the time we'd finished making up the goody bags, I'd lost two nails and I lost another one walking around Birmingham. I don't know whether it was something I had done, but I was a little disappointed after being promised a week, I only got a day and a bit. I ended up taking the rest off once I got home.

So I put to you, have you tried impress nails? Did they last the week? I really want to know.

Till Next Time,

Clare xxx
