Your Questions Answered

Hello Lovely People,

So earlier this week, I asked you lovely people to ask me some questions that I could answer for this weeks lifestyle/personal post. This is that post. This week I got 5 questions, I really enjoyed getting the questions and I'd love to do another post like this again so if you get any questions pop in your head leave them as a comment below and I'll do another post. So without further  a do, lets get to the questions.

Nic Nac Noo asked If you had to take 5 beauty products to a desert island what would they be?

I had to really think about this, my thought process went really deep.. I was beginning to decide if I was sharing the island with me or not as that would depend on how much make up I took (sometimes I seriously overthink things) but after much thought I decided the 5 products I'd take with me would be:
  1. Sun tan lotion. The higher the SPF the better because I would not like to be burnt to a crisp.
  2. My favourite Sun, Swim, Gym Shampoo. I wouldn't bother with the conditioner because I can only have 5 items but I want to remain somewhat clean on my head.
  3. A razor. I don't want to get to hairy (enough said)
  4. Simple Cleansing wipes. Just to try and keep the dirt level on my face down a little.
  5. Soap. To keep the rest of my body clean.
Good question there... onto the next.

Emily asked how did you get into the job you do now (i.e what a levels/uni/college etc)?

Well... this one will be a long answer so you may want to grab a cuppa and get comfy. So the job that I am getting into is being a teaching assistant (however, not completely there yet but more on that later).

I always knew that I wanted to do something working with children, my mum works in education and I'd always help her out when I had a teacher training day, so when I began doing my A levels and had to start applying for things via UCAS, I had some idea what I wanted to apply for. I picked A levels that I thought I'd be interested in (Chemistry, Geography and RE) and got on with the work I knew I had to do. I applied to universities to begin with to get on teaching courses but due to the time that all my UCAS stuff when through most places had been taken up.

However, a few universities offered suggestions of courses to get on instead such as the one I ended up on. I picked my university, my course (Education Studies and Theology - i,e the study of Education and everything behind the scenes along with R.E as I had enjoyed it at school) and managed to get in.

I enjoyed my course as in the second year, there was a module which involved a placement in somewhere you'd like to work. I picked a local primary school to where my uni was and I volunteered in a Yr 1 class, which I kept up until I left university a year later.

Once I graduated, I started to do agency work, which involved going in to schools when needed to be a supply teaching assistant. It is still something I do but the work is not always constant so that is why I'm currently training to be a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at college so I can get a full time job in a school.

I hope that answered your question Emily.

Rebecca asked who your biggest blogging influence is if you have one?

One of my biggest blogging influences is Louise or Sprinkle of Glitter. I love her style of writing/vlogging, her sense of humour really comes out when you read her blog posts, so much that it feels like she's talking to you. Thats how I try to write. I try to write to you like I'm talking to my friends because thats how I feel about you. You are all my friends.

Natalie asked What got you into blogging? Do you enjoy doing it?

Well this question kinda links into the last one. I kind of got into blogging by "accident". I had been watching beauty people's youtube videos and they were all saying go read my blog etc so when I did I would see that there was a comment section, so I signed up with a blogger account thinking thats what I needed to comment.

Then along comes a post from Sprinkle of Glitter's blog called 7 things for 7 days. This post was interactive and she asked her followers to join in and do it on their blogs. I wrote mine and there my blog was made.

Second part of the question asks do I enjoy doing it... the answer to this has to be Yes. If I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't be doing it. I love that I have had the chance to meet new people through blogging. Yes it is a time consuming thing to do but I really enjoy doing it so I don't mind

Zoe asked four questions (thats what I get for mentioning it in our chats on BBM.. I do love her though) She asked:
What is your hands down all time FAVOURITE lipstick?
All time favourite.. this is tricky because I have recently become obsessed with MAC lipsticks (I now have 10) but I'm unsure whether I can call them my all time favourites yet. I guess at the moment, my all time favourite can be one of two lipsticks. One is a MAC one... Fanfare, you know I love it you've all seen the post but the one I've been in love with longer is a Natural Collection lipstick in Rose Bud. Its a lovely neutral pink and its only £1.99, what more can you want.

If you could be anything in the world, what would it be?
Anything? hmm... I do love the job I do work that I do so I'd probably like to be a Teaching Assistant but can I be a rich one (would help with my make up addition) . Or maybe Superman (just joking)

What topic is your favourite thing to blog about (to read and to write)?
My favourite thing to read about is any kind of haul... I love finding out how people are spending their money. I love to write my lifestyle/personal posts because I love the response I get off people reading the posts.

What is your favourite thing about writing a blog and the blogging community?
My favourite thing about writing a blog is the blogging community. They are hands down the nicest group of people. I have regular friendly day to day chats with people that I've never met and I find this cool. I mean I text and message Zoe, Natalie and Gemma on a daily basis about things that are nothing to do with blogging or even make up (sometimes). I just love that this little blog has introduced me to some amazing people.

So there you go, my first question and answer session. As I said at the beginning, I'd love to do another one of these so if you have any questions. Feel free to leave them in the comments.

Till Next Time,
