Maxfactor, you have a new fan

Hey lovely people,

So today I'm talking about my new foundation that I'm using… that’s right two “reviews” in one week, I'm that wild hehe.

So I recently purchased the new Maxfactor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation from Boots. This is the first bit of make up that I’d got from the brand but it interested me as it has 3 products in one.

According to the product information on the Boots website, it says:

Max Factor All Day Flawless 3-in-1 Foundation for women who want their foundation to easily deliver a long-lasting professional finish. The intelligent formula has three elements; Primer to hold, Concealer to correct, Foundation to finish

I got really excited to try it and see what happened. You know how I feel about my Rimmel Wake Me Up, but there was something about the sound of this foundation that I just had to try. I picked up the lightest shade that my local boots had which was ‘Warm Almond’ after using a tester that was in the store.

I decided that I would show you what happened when I put it on my face, and as it is Halloween I’m going to show you a before and after shot (that’s right you are getting me pre make up):

So as you can see first picture shows me without make up (scary I know), the second is what my face looks like after the application of the foundation and then the final picture that is in the set is from last week’s OOTD post just so I can show you how it looks with some make up.

So what do I think of the foundation?

I'm impressed, seriously impressed. It goes on like a dream with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush, and feels just like a second skin, it is light and not cakey at all. I think it matches my skin tone relatively well and hides anything that I want to hide (this must mean that the concealer part works). Its staying power is good, it lasts the school day plus a little longer (I'd say about 8 hours) without a touch up, which is good enough for what I need.

All in all, I'm a fan of this foundation. The only slight downside to this product is the price. It retails at £11.99. It's not a large amount of money, its not Chanel or MAC prices but its not as cheap as say Rimmel's Wake Me Up. I don't mind the price though, I will definately be repurchasing and I suggest that all you lovely bloggers try it out.

Have any of you lovelies tried this foundation? What do you think? Leave a comment below.
Till Next Time,

p.s If you have anything to ask me (beauty, fashion or lifestyle/personal related) leave me a question on this post as I want to do a question and answer post on saturday

  2. I am thinking about trying this foundation as I have seen a few reviews on it. I like to try different foundations, currently I am using L'Oreal which is good but this foundation looks good too! The three products in one is definitely worth a try! I can see what you mean about the price. xx
