Dirty Works Banish the Bags

Hey Lovely People,

How are you? Well I hope. Today I come to you with a product I found relatively recently and that is the Dirty Works Banish the Bags Eye Cream.

Dirty Works is a brand I have loved for a while. It is easily accessible because Sainsburys ( so you can grab it with your food shopping) and its not overly expensive.

Eye creams were something that I had never really considered as part of my skin care routine but when I saw this one on the shelves of my local Sainsburys I took my chances and picked it up.

Firstly let’s look at the packaging, then I’ll say what I think of the product. The packaging of the whole Dirty Works reminds me of the Soap and Glory Range, with its slightly retro packaging. The tube that holds the product (all 15ml of it) is pink and doesn’t stand out next to all my other skincare, which I like.

The product itself. Well it’s an eye cream, which according to the packaging claims to reduce eye puffiness and dark circles as well as soothing the eye area. It has “proven tightening peptide and stimulating caffine” which helps to improve circulation around the eye area.

What I have found, by doing what the directions tell me (putting it on around the eye area every morning and night) I have seen a slight difference in my skin. Mostly during the morning applications strangely (although that might be because the night time ones have to suffer me sleeping through its working time) .

The consistency of the product is good and rubs in easily. I don’t find it at all oily and it sinks into the skin quickly and efficiently (top marks). The end product is a smoother, less puffy skinned eye.

I haven’t seen much difference in the dark circle area, but I generally have dark circles under my eyes most of the time. I have found however that by using this cream my concealer has stayed under my eyes better and for longer so that’s a plus.

All in all, I am really loving this eye cream and will definitely be repurchasing it. The price tag is currently £3.32 (its on offer, normal retail price is £4.99) so it’s a bargain really. Like I said at the beginning its found in Sainsburys, so I suggest you go and get yourself a tube.

Till Next Time,
C
