Wedding Post - Picture Heavy

Hey Lovely People,

Me again twice in a day… aren’t you lucky.
So I wanted to put both the hen party and the wedding posts up on the same day otherwise it gets further away from the day itself (I mean its already been a week since the wedding)

Just to warn everyone, this post will be quite a few pictures and I fear that its going to a long post but I hope you like it.

The weekend began at 2pm so I spent the morning with my hair in rollers doing my make up. Here’s the finished face (obviously I took the rollers out).

So the wedding was lovely, the bride and groom looked amazing and everyone got a little bit teary. I didn’t take any pictures during the service because I wanted to enjoy the moment. The service was lovely, the vicar made jokes in the right places and it was lovely. After the service, the bride and groom invited people to stay behind for refreshments (cake and drinks). I managed to get some of the happy couple looking awesome.

After the sugar boost from the cake, everyone went outside to throw confetti and look at the wedding car before they zoomed off to the reception.

The reception was at a local hotel. We were greeted with a drink of Pimms and then taken out to the back to listen to some jazz music, whilst the photographer took 1001 pictures of both families, bridesmaids, best man and ushers and then finally the school friends picture (which is what I came under even though I didn’t go to school with them- a thing they never remember because I’ve been around for so long. Here is the friends picture, and if you hadn’t worked out I’m the one in the Navy Maxi Dress with white fascinator.

Here’s a couple more pictures of the bride in her dress, just because it was gorgeous.

The evening meal was yummy and the speeches began. They were cute and full of sentiment and I learnt a few new secrets from those speeches. Finally it was time for cutting of the cake, the cake itself was amazingly decorated and was complete with the little statues of the couple, here’s a little picture for you.

This is were the evening finished, we waved them off in their car as they drove off on the honeymoon. They are home soon so it’ll be good to catch up with them then.

So there is my little post about the amazing time I had at Alice and Jon’s Wedding, hope you enjoyed it and looked at all the pictures ( sorry there were so many). Congratulations on getting to the end.

Till Next Time,
C
