L'oreal Casting Creme Colouring Time :)

Hey Lovely People,

Me again. So yesterday, I went to my best friend's house to have some fun, watch some films, make some amazing food and just generally chill out.
Whilst I was there, I got my hair dyed as the last home colouring was fading, and my hair had the half coloured / half natural look and it was not pretty.

A little back story on the hair, whilst growing up I liked it long but as I've got older I've grown to love my hair shorter with a little side fringe. Colourwise,I never really played with colour until just over a year ago. Mostly because I was brave enough to do anything. My colour choice before has been safe using semi permanent ( which I'm still doing -not brave enough for permanent) and always using the L'oreal Casting Creme Gloss Range.

The range, which I'm sure you've all heard about because of the Cheryl Cole adverts (yes its that brand) is an ammonia free semi permanent dye, which according to the website and the box claim benefits including:
  •  blends away greys
  • gives a shimmering, rich & luscious colour result.
  • a super glossy shine.
  • colour that lasts up to 28 shampoos.

My last dye colour from this range was 454 Chocolate Brownie, I loved the colour so much I tried it twice. In my eyes it was a better version of my natural hair colour. This time, I wanted to be a bit braver and go a little more out of my comfort zone and go for a redder shade. The shade I picked was 565 Berry Red. The box looks like this (sorry I've had to use an online picture, but I forgot to take a picture of the box before hand and my friend threw it away afterwards because it was a tad messy):

So I think its about time you see my new hair. As I have naturally quite dark hair, my hair is obviously not going to as red as the picture on the box.. So here it is:

Here's a close up of the hair:

Sorry about the lack of make up/weird face pulling. I'd just come back from the gym and I was light headed (and thats the excuse I'm sticking with. So as you can hopefully see there's a reddish tinge to my hair, which I'm loving. I'm quite a fan of my new hair and for around £6.50 (its currently £6.49 in boots) you can put a bit of lovely-ness into your hair.

What do you think? Have you tried any of the Casting Creme Range? Do you have any questions about the range?
Leave me a comment below.

Thats all,
Till Next Time,

P.S here's my friend's dog Millie. I love her and I thought that you'd all appreciate the picture.

  1. I have looked at this dye a couple of times and wondered if it is any good. It was Cheryl Cole that sadly made me want to try it also haha. Love the colour of her hair in the advert.

I have completely ruined my hair at the moment by using the wrong colour of dye a couple of weeks back so I am trying to give my hair a rest but it is so tempting.

http://razzledazzleandrocknroll.blogspot.co.uk/ I am trying to get my followers up at the moment so if you like what you see I will greatly appreciate your follow :). If you already follow I apologise.
